About Steph

My passion for strength training began in junior high, when I discovered how much it could improve not only athletic performance, but confidence, resilience, and overall quality of life. That passion has grown into a career dedicated to helping others perform at their best.

I’m a Slippery Rock native and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition from Grove City College. While in college, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.

Early in my college career, I underwent two knee surgeries that gave me firsthand experience with rehabilitation. That journey shaped the way I coach today by reinforcing the importance of proper movement, individualized programming, and building strength with purpose.

I’ve gained experience through sports performance internships with UPMC and AHN, coached youth through the YMCA, and worked with athletes of all ages and abilities at D1 Training. Those experiences have allowed me to work with individuals from a wide range of athletic backgrounds and skill levels.

Today, through Croll Strength & Performance, my mission is simple: to provide individualized, strength training that helps people reach their goals. Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve performance, returning to activity after physical therapy, or simply wanting to become stronger for everyday life, every program is built specifically for you.

I believe strength training should have a purpose, and I’m committed to helping every client build confidence, move well, and create lasting strength that carries over into every aspect of life.

We are committed to creating a supportive coaching environment where athletes and everyday individuals can develop the strength, resilience, and skills needed to succeed both inside and outside of the gym.
